It means that the voices around, popular opinion and the likes cant blow the strong foundation. Spirituality is who you are. A leader has a strong spirituality means that he believes strongly in what he knows and rely on his heart.

Self-esteem is deeper than self-protection

A big leader will be able to stand out that makes them be in vulnerable position. But this is a good position for leader, no leader can succeed under self protection.

Appreciation for discipline is greater than desire for leisure

A true leader can sacrifice their leisure time for their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual improvement.
