How I Get Rid Of Bloating?

About 3 months ago, my husband and I got married. That very night, I became pregnant, crazy I know. My first trimester has gone by with very few problems. Unlike most pregnant women, morning sickness was never really an issue for me. In fact, I think I only got sick a handful of times. The only real problem that I had was that I felt bloated all the time. It was too the point where I actually made an appointment to speak with my doctor about it. He said it was completely normal and that I should just try and bear with it.

Well this answer simply wasn’t good enough for me. I was willing to do anything to figure out how to get rid of bloating once and for all. Luckily, a friend of mine who had gone through several pregnancies of her own knew exactly what I was going through. She said she had the exact same problem I did. My friend suggested that I suck on a lemon whenever I felt bloated. I was skeptical at first, but like I said, I was willing to try anything. Well, believe it or not, sucking on a lemon actually worked!

6 Things That You Should Know About Lowering Cholesterol

So you were already taught in school that cholesterol can be both bad and good. You were also taught that lowering cholesterol is your ultimate task to keep your heart healthy. Those facts are correct, to keep things simple. But more than those rules of thumb, cholesterol is something more significant.

cholesterol levelHere are six things that you should know about lowering cholesterol:

1. Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or bad cholesterol is the primary suspect for heart diseases, leading to heart attacks and strokes. As its waxy composition clogs arteries, blood vessels are blocked and the continuous passage of blood is hampered. When this is not treated right away, this can result to cardiac arrest.

2. Lowering cholesterol levels is very important, but totally eliminating it from the system is dangerous and, not to mention, impossible. Cholesterol is a primary requirement for the body’s production of adrenal hormones and sex hormones. It is also needed when the body is making Vitamin D.

3. Because cholesterol is a form of lipid, it will not dissolve in water however you try it. A common home remedy by people who experience increased blood pressure due to high cholesterol level is drinking fiber-rich drinks and fruits. It will work on a certain level, of course. But replacing it with other fluids, like when you are trying to detoxify yourself from other chemicals, won’t do the same trick.

4. Cholesterol is not only present in fatty foods like meats. They are also contained in some fruits. Avocado is known to have higher fat content compared to other fruits – this actually makes it a good beauty product). This fat content comes with a certain amount of cholesterol, although not really the bad type.

5. Eliminating cholesterol is impossible because whether you eat a food with it or not, your body will still produce its own. The liver produces its own cholesterol using other substances from other foods.

6. While high levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) can lead to heart diseases, low levels of good cholesterol (HDL) can equally cause negative effects, one of which is atherosclerosis. This is because there is no sufficient amount of HDL in the body that will carry the LDL to the liver, away from the arteries and blood stream. Lowering HDL in the body is, thus, not recommended in any way.
