eBay is the ‘BEST’ opportunity you can use right now to make money online in the dropshipping business from the comfort of your own home.

Thousands of people just like you use eBay auctions on a daily basis to sell and buy products on the Internet; now it’s your time to START your own dropshipping home-based business and succeed in the eBay auctions ‘game’!

There are no special skills required for this dropshipping business, all you need is a computer, Internet access and some basic computer / Internet knowledge.

Dropshipping is when you sell products on the Web, forward the orders to the dropship supplier and, in return, the dropshipper ships the product to your customer (buyer).

You act as the middleman between the dropshipping supplier and your buyer. You can take orders by credit card, PayPal fax or any other method you can think of. You can sell via your own Web Site, Yahoo store, or even through e-mails.

Your profit is generated on the difference between your selling price and the price the dropshipping supplier charges you.

Thanks to dropshipping you can start making money ‘instantly’ without any investment in inventory, warehousing, shipping, equipment, employees or office space.

Having products drop shipped by suppliers, allows you to concentrate on truly important aspects like advertising, sales and promotion.

Pay attention! There are lots of companies claiming to be ‘Drop Shippers’. However, a legitimate drop shipper is a factory-authorized wholesale distributor, or sometimes the actual manufacturer of the product. A legitimate drop shipper should not charge you an ‘account setup fee’ or ask you to place a ‘minimum quantity order’.

Make sure you find legitimate drop shippers who have the product(s) you want to sell, talk with them on the phone or by e-mail and let them know that you are truly serious about doing business with them.

Customer support counts in the dropshipping business, so don’t hesitate to contact dropshipping suppliers before you proceed to work with them.

This will help you decide if you really want to do business with a particular drop shipper or not.

To succeed in the dropshipping business you’ll have to LOOK for hard-to-find products that people desperately need and want to purchase.

The key is to sell products with little or no competition.

Do some research for product’s you want to sell that you think will have little or no competition on eBay.

I suggest you RESEARCH for quality products & legitimate dropship suppliers, MONITOR the eBay auction listings to see if there’s any competition and TEST the market (e.g. find out if people really want to spend CASH on the product you want to sell)

Remember! Dropshipping makes it EASY for you to start and run your own home-based businesses on a shoestring budget; and eBay is the ‘perfect’ MEDIUM to expose your product to potential buyers all over the globe!

eBay sales may have grown 51% last year over the previous year, but general online complaints jumped by 66.6% over the previous year to some 207,000+ complaints in 2004. The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), a partnership between the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), stated in its yearly report that 71.2% of all complaints received pertained to auctions.

Online fraud is a growing problem on the internet and the auction segment is far from immune. The IC3 reports that most complaints consist of late or no shipment of products, items that don’t match advertised condition and bogus payment or escrow services.

If you decide to offer “all items to be shipped within 24 hours”, make sure you keep your word, and go to great lengths to honestly represent and describe the item in your auctions. Your bidders will appreciate your honesty and it will eventually show up in your feedback.

As consumer fears increase, there are a number of common sense ways to help protect you from fraud, as well as enhance your reputation as a trustworthy seller and set you apart from the crowd.

Watch Out for Bad Checks, Money Orders and Cashiers Checks Years ago I had a buyer who complained rather loudly when I didn’t ship an item as soon as I received the check in the mail. In hind site it was a good decision to hold the shipment since the check ended up being fraudulent. Bad checks, money orders, and cashiers checks are rampant in ecommerce today. The simplest way to offset the danger of bad paper is not to ship the auction item until the check, money order or cashier check clears your bank for payment.

Overpayments

Never accept any overpayments for any item. One of the more popular scams today is for a buyer to send a cashiers check for an amount that is higher than the agreed upon final price. They then claim it was in error and ask the seller to kindly return the overage when the item is shipped. Off goes the item, the overage amount in good money, and the defrauded seller finds out too late the cashiers check was fake.

Use an Escrow Service for High Priced Items

The primary purpose of escrow services is to protect buyers and sellers from fraud. Basically what they do is to accept the money from the buyer and hold it until the buyer receives and approves the merchandise. Please note that fake escrow services are increasing on the internet. If a buyer contacts you after a sale and recommends an escrow service you are not familiar with BEWARE. At present eBay only recommends one escrow company: www.escrow.com. For information go to http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidence/payment-escrow.html

Records, Records, Records

Keeps a copy of every transaction detail from the original auction listing to the last email. You will need that kind of proof to validate your claims if you should find you need to file a complaint.

Protect Yourself by Being Educated

At the very least you need to be knowledgeable about your legal obligations as a seller and familiar with the fraud protections and policies for the auction sites and payment processing services you use. eBay and Paypal have extensive sections on their websites dedicated to fraud policies and protections. You should take the time to read through these or similar information pages for the sites and services you use on a regular basis and be very familiar with the material.

A few of the key recommendations from Paypal’s Protection for Sellers section include:

Ship only to the address listed on the Transaction Details page

Use a shipping service with tracking

Check out the buyer’s reputation

Accept payment from only one Paypal account per buyer

Limit credit card payments

Enhancing Your Safe Seller Image

Here are a few tips that will help improve your image as a safe seller for your bidders.

Identify Yourself – Make use of the about me pages to let your customers know who you are, how long you’ve been in business and how much their business means to you. Be honest.

Feedback Ratings – Auction buyers want to see 100% positive feedback.

Methods of Payment – Make it easy for your customers to buy but consider convenience, cost and security in choosing any payment method you offer.

Full Disclosure – Your auction listings should clearly state the condition of the item you’re auctioning, your shipping/insurance and return policies.

Bonding programs – A number of bonding programs are available on the internet. One of the more popular is BuySafe (www.buysafe.com). In a bonding program the seller agrees to certain obligations such as shipping on time, representing the item correctly, and standing behind the transaction. In return the seller can display a seal on their auctions showing bidders they are honest sellers and providing transaction insurance in some cases up to $25,000.

Other programs you should be familiar with include:

IDVerify
SquareTrade
Trust-e

If You Become a Victim of Online Fraud

You need to know exactly what should be done in the event you are victimized. Make your plan now, before it happens. The most recommended steps to take if you are victimized are listed below but please keep in mind these are general recommendations and you should have you own plan based on your needs.

File a complaint with your auction site
File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission
File a complaint with the IC3
File a complaint with the National Fraud Information Center
Contact your local and state law enforcement agencies
Contact the local and state law enforcement agencies in the perpetrator’s home area
File a complaint with the shipping company you used
It the perpetrator is a business and a member of the Better Business Bureau you should also file a complaint there.

Usually online it is the other way about with you advertising your item, creating hyperlinks to your internet site, starting joint ventures, and so on just to get the correct type of guests to your site.
Obtaining guests to your personal internet site to purchase products is not easy. It can also be costly &amp#038 timely if your new to net advertising. But by advertising on eBay you can forget about it all simply because clients truly lookup for you.

Online auctions are big business. But they can be big headaches.

During the past year, trading in online commerce was valued at $60 billion, according to *Business Standard." Online trade among small businesses makes up 1 per cent of USA*s GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and is expected to reach 10 per cent or $400 billion of USA*s GDP by 2010.

"But setting up and maintaining operations on huge auction sites like Ebay is not always easy," said Rich Moc, owner of Performance Cars at Pcars.com, a niche automotive auction site. "People can spend a lot of time sifting through cluttered pages of auctions, bidding, setting up accounts and managing multiple, confusing and expensive fees that can take an accountant to figure out. And trying to figure out how to submit a simple email or place a quick call for help can be a pain in the neck."

The solution or pain relief for big auction headaches? Smaller, niche sites with personalized service. For example, Performance Cars offers easier management, one-on-one help and plenty of options to help with automotive solutions and aftermarket selling. Some of their auction tips are:

Customer Service – When you have an item listed and a potential buyer contacts you with a question, respond quickly. It is important and actually critical to your success to check your email account several times a day. Answering a question could be the difference between you getting the sale or the buyer going someplace else.

Description – When you list your item(s), write an accurate description. No need to write long paragraphs of rambling information. But do provide exact measurements, colors, condition, etc. Be precise.

Exceed Expectations – You want every customer to be happy. So do a little more research on shipping, or negotiate on price. But remember that the customer is the reason you will have success. Be prepared to go the extra mile and provide superior service every time.

Digital Images – While auctions without photographs can and do sell, auctions with photographs sell much better. People like visualizations and want to see what they will get with their money. Make sure your photograph is clear, focused and offers more than just a straight view.

With Pcars.com, sellers can instantly create their own account and setup their own homepage. Next they add their product information and links. Then upload images, up to eight photos included with the no-cost membership. That*s it.

"It is THE BEST site to host photos and one of the best to sell and buy things for your car!" shared Lefteris from Greece who sells Jewels for Porsches regularly on Ebay and now on Pcars.com, too. "And the site is very easy to use."

The site is developing to meet needs of the buyers and sellers. In the works are Photo Gallery for hosting pictures, AV Center for racing videos, and a Forum for comments and sharing automotive tips.

"As a seller I find the PCARS site very easy to list and I like that I can have large photos for my items," Lefteris explained. "I use Ebay also, but I find the PCARS site much, much better. I*m here to stay."

Progressing Discount Price Plan

Also under way is a new Progressing Discount Price (PDP) plan. Sellers will have the option to list their prices so that they decrease over time, while waiting for someone to buy. This option benefits the sellers by allowing them to discount their inventories as time progresses. Additionally, this ensures that inventories may get sold at the end of the listing period (usually 30-day). The benefit for the buyers is that they get to buy the items cheaper the next day if the items have not been sold. Here is an example with this option: http://www.pcars.com/autos/partview.php?view=65.

Like all ebay sellers I wanted to sell all of my items at a revenue and what I found was that when I was obtaining to the end of line items that I was ending up selling them at price, even though the items were finally selling at a revenue price, simply because I was having to factor in the ebay relisting fees and so on.

So I took a moment and sat down and thought how I could deal with these items and nonetheless make money. What I ended up performing was thinking outside the ebay sellers box and coming up with selling them at price to make a lot of money.

What I imply by this was that I was heading to sell the items at no reduction to me on ebay but then use the chance to build a relationship with the buyer that could be used to build long phrase revenue for me. Think of it as :

A reduction leader without the Reduction!

Let me use a couple of examples :

Scenario 1

Merchandise sells on ebay for £20 revenue, buyer buys the merchandise and pays and thats the end of it. Your total revenue is £20.

Scenario Two

Products sells at price, zero revenue but you use the sale as an chance to build a relationship with the buyer and lock them into your business. The buyer then buys 1 merchandise a month (perhaps more!) for a yr providing you a revenue of £240 (minimum). If these are from your website not ebay your revenue will be higher as you will have no fees. Over the lifetime value of a customer this could imply thousands of lbs revenue…

It is common information that when a customer is locked into your business or product then they are more likely to repeat purchase, which is exactly where the lot of money part of the equation comes in. The principle can also be used when you sell at full price but as you are selling at a discount price the customer is more likely to be interested in your provide as they will put your product and value into the exact same sentance.

What I am asking you to do is to consider a crucial look at what the true worth of ebay really is, is is not just in immediate terms but the long phrase prospects far outway the brief phrase earnings.

The query is now, ‘How do you build this relationship?

There are a number of ways but by far the most effective that I use is by utilizing a simple e-mail!!! No tougher than that this creating a relationship idea…

Once the customer has bought my ebay merchandise I deliver a simple receipt via e-mail thanking them for thier purchase and generating them conscious of my website and providing them the chance to join my mailing list so that I can contact them with furthur provides they might be interested in.

I make it very clear that I have no intention of flooding them with spam and give them the choice of the number of occasions they will be contacted in a month. This has two results, they gain trust in your professionalism as you are observed not to be just harvesting emails and it also makes them really feel in control as they set the frequency of contact.

It does imply that I have to operate a number of mailing lists but this is a little price to pay to lock customers into my products.

The majority of my customers (approx. ninety%) join the ’1-four occasions a month list which is great as this indicates that I can contact them once a week with provides if I needed. This is a frequency that I really feel is sufficient to maintain the relationship between me and my customers as I am not observed to be spamming them but nonetheless observed to be providing products of curiosity to them.

It is also essential to notice that I do not usually deliver out 1 mailing a week as it is dependent on the product you sell as to whether or not the customer would want to purchase once a week. i believe greatly in the relationship that I have with my customers and can see the long phrase advantages of keeping this and consequently I refuse to jepordise it for a fast revenue.

A point to keep in mind, if they choose not to consider the chance to join your list then do not maintain emailing them. this is SPAM and will do no more than tarnish your company, website and products image in the eye of the buyer.

What I am saying is Think outside of the ebay box, ebay provides a massive chance in terms of possible customers and long phrase earnings as opposed to brief phrase earnings.

How much would it price to get the number of page views, that ebay listings get, on your website utilizing your own visitors generating techniques, use ebay and use it great.

As a serious seller on eBay you’re familiar with their fee circumventing rules. If not, visit: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-circumventing.html.

In a nutshell their rule is that you are not allowed to put an item up for bid for a penny and charge $100 for shipping and handling (S&H) in an attempt to avoid the transaction fee. Since we are not trying to avoid fees we all follow the rules ? right? To a certain extent yes, but many sellers are still stretching the bubble by over charging for S&H in an attempt to maximize their profits and losing bidders in the process – the end result is the opposite of what they hoped for. Ultimately they reduce their sales and although these efforts fit within eBay’s policies, when extreme, they are considered an unfair practice by many buyers.

I’ll give you an example. I play in a Texas-No-Hold-Em poker game once a month – just a bunch of friends who get together, play a little poker, talk about their lives and have some fun. I thought it would be nice if we had some ‘professional-style’ poker chips so went to eBay to buy some. I like to think of myself as an intelligent eBay shopper so I watched the auctions for a few days and noticed that the final price averaged $60 for the chips I wanted (retail is about twice that at a local store). The market was determining the price, or was it?

As I watched these auctions I noticed an interesting problem, the shipping charges varied greatly. For the sake of this example let’s say one seller was offering S&H at $20, another at $30 and one $50. We’ll call them Seller A, Seller B and Seller C. As a buyer, if I was willing to accept the price determined by the market ? in this case $60, then the final cost of the item from each of these sellers would be:

Seller A: $60 + $20 = $80
Seller B: $60 + $30 = $90
Seller C: $60 + $50 = $110

I did some additional homework and discovered the package would weigh 17 pounds, the size would not increase shipping costs and the sellers were all in my state. I went to the UPS and Fed-X web sites and plugged in the needed information for shipping cost estimates. The results were $11 and $17. All things being equal the total cost of the chips should be around $71-$78. So which seller’s auction did I bid on? Only one ? Seller A ? and I got the chips for $52, plus S&H ($72). If I hadn’t won that auction I may have bid on Seller B’s but probably would have lowered my total bid amount by $10. Seller C’s auction closed without a singe bid.

Seller A got my business, Seller B may have, and as far as I was concerned, and apparently other bidders, Seller C can go pound sand. The outcome of this example should be pretty clear and it should be obvious by now that you don’t want to be Seller C. Although you may get an occasional windfall with less savvy bidders, in the long term your sales will be much less than that of other sellers of similar items.

That’s not to say you shouldn’t recoup your shipping and handling costs in the process. We’re not in business to lose money, but make sure you are not trying to pad your ‘profit’ at the expense of loosing bidders and ultimately sales. Take the time to do similar research on your own items and market niche and find out where you stand with your shipping and handling charges. If you’re fair to your customers they will think better of you for it and in the long run your sales will be better.

Online auction websites are a fantastic way to find a discount on nearly something and an excellent way of getting the best price for promoting something of your own. Online auctions are different from their actual-world counterparts. You are free to take your time browsing the listings and bidding requires location more than a period of days instead than minutes. Online Auctions offer good chance for anybody wishing to start an on-line business for a number of factors. If you feel you have the persistence necessary to operate your own effective business, this is one chance you ought to consider.

Basic Concept

Your business is to market enjoying intermediary function assisting people to purchase items they require. You do not require stock as you can start by putting drop shipper’s items on eBay to get you began. Drop shipping is utilized by intermediary and mail purchase companies who do not wish to stock stock of the products sold for future delivery through mail purchase, catalogues and internet advertising. You deliver single unit orders for products to producers, or major stocking distributors, who in flip drop ship the merchandise direct to your clients discovered at on-line auction. Manufacturers supplying drop shipping services can gain additional sales, shift advertising expenses to middlemen, offer advertising material and decrease stock specifications. You shift the risks of stocking stock to the provide supply, including storage, insurance, overhead, and personnel by investing absolutely nothing on stock, until following the product is sold.

Benefits

Minimal funds needed to start. You loose a couple of dollars in eBay costs if your item does not market.

Disadvantages

Lack of public information on common sales methods and techniques utilized. This is not passive income program. You ought to work all the time you want to operate your business.

Common errors to steer clear of

one. Listing an item with wrong auction expiration time. It’s a known fact that more purchasers browse auction websites on Sunday evenings than any other time during the week.

two. Not providing your listing the attention it deserves. Lots of people location items with out pictures and even good description. Lots of people use all kinds of flashing animation, multicolored text and other bells and whistles in an try to entice bidders. Listings like these are distracting, hard to study, and will always discourage people from bidding, resulting in a lower final sales price.

3. Using a reserve price. Using a reserve price to assure that one will get a minimum price for an item. Individuals will not bid on “Reserve” auctions as they don’t want to get “Reserve not yet met” message.

four. Not planning your business activities. It is always better to produce business plan and start implementing it. Ebay business requires procedured to be done daily so plan it thoroughly.

5. Not selecting a number of good drop shippers. Your business ought to be steady. Drop shippers can stop and also they can kill your business by not meeting your expectations. So rotate them until you get a number of good ones for your business.

Many new Ebay sellers make one of two mistakes: either they overprice items to an unsellable extreme; or they lose money on every transaction by setting low starting prices with no restrictions.

In this lesson, I am going to go over which pricing strategies to use and when if you are using a ten-day auction setup.

Strategy #1

If you are listing a popular item that you are confident will sell for a high price, one strategy you can use is the ten-day, one cent starting price, no reserve auction. This is the best way to start a bidding war: pull in bidders early with a low starting price and no reserve and give them ten days and two weekends to battle it out.

Depending on the profit-margin of the item and the quality and number of your competitors, you may want to consider using listing upgrades, such as bold, highlight, and feature listing options to ensure your auction sticks out of the crowd.

Please note that I do not recommend this strategy for beginners. This is extremely high risk if you do not know how to take the risk out of it – and this is not something I can teach you. You must determine this by assessing your own personal inventory with tests.

Strategy #2

Now, if you are new to Ebay or want to list an item with undetermined popularity, you can use a safer, but potentially as profitable bidding strategy for ten-day auctions.

You still wont use a reserve with this strategy. But instead of setting the start price low to encourage a bidding war, you are going to set your start price to your ideal selling price – and then couple it with a buy it now price that is slightly higher.

This will put pressure on the buyer to buy it now instead of watching. If she waits, she gains absolutely nothing–and she risks someone else bidding (and ruining the low BIN price) or just snatching it with the BIN option.

In addition, knowing that she will lose nothing anyway, she will realize that she can get the item up to ten days sooner if she uses the BIN option to order it then, rather than waiting for the auction clock to tick down.

The strategy I described above is very safe. I use it for the majority of my auctions and I always get positive results. At worst, it will take me 3-4 weeks to sell an item, but I wont ever lose money. I just adjust the price to compensate for additional fees.

Strategy #3

Another effective way to use a ten-day setting is in conjunction with dutch auctions–or auctions that sell a number of the same item. Ten-day auctions will give you the longest amount of time to move the highest amount of products.

You may also want to feature ten-day dutch auctions, depending on what items you are selling. If you’re selling information products and rely on the quantity of sales for profit, this wont be effective; but if you’re selling a number of expensive, high profit-margin items, featuring your auction is probably a good idea.

________________

If none of these strategies works for you, you should consider the following two things: 1) the price other Ebay businesses sell your product for. If someone else IS selling your product, there is a reason for it – and it’s probably the price. If you cannot afford to sell at a reasonable price, you need to find a new source to buy from. And if your product’s price is reasonable, then 2) you need to redesign your auction and find new ways of pulling in targeted traffic.

Police Auctions Information:

No, a police auction is not where you go to buy a policeman. Most people do not realize that police agencies, including local police departments, county sheriff departments, as well as state and federal law enforcement agencies end up with a lot of confiscated, lost, or abandoned property. This property ends up in the agency’s possession as the result of arrests, forfeitures, and just plain carelessness on the part of the property owner who sets a camera down in some public place and walks away.

Once the agency has accumulated enough property they will hold a police impound auction. The purpose of the police impound auction is two-fold. First, they want to empty out their property rooms which, in the case of some state and federal agencies, may be the size of a warehouse. Second, they want to turn this unclaimed or forfeited property into cash. This cash usually goes back into the agency’s budget, but it is sometimes earmarked for the particular government’s “general fund”. No matter where the money ends up, police auctions are usually a big money raiser for larger departments.

Forfeited Property & Police Impound Auction:

Items that fall under this category are usually the creme de la creme of the police auctions industry. This is where you can find anything from motorcycles and cars, to boats, airplanes, and homes!

Forfeited property is generally the result of drug arrests where it was determined that the seized property was either used in the commission of drug-related crimes, or was purchased with money that was received as the result of a drug-related crime.

When you bid on this type of property at a police impound auction you are agreeing to accept the item “as is”. You need to be aware that the term “as is” does not simple refer to blemishes or minor damage. If, for example, you buy property at auction, and that property has tax liens placed against it, you will be expected to clear those liens before you can take rightful ownership. The same holds true for mortgages or car loans.

You can find some real bargains at police auctions for this type of high-value merchandise but you need to perform your due diligence so you don’t end up in red ink after the transaction.

Unclaimed & Abandoned Property:

You would be shocked at what kind of property that people either lose or simply walk away from. You would be equally shocked at how many honest people find that property and turn it into the police department. Ultimately, if no one claims the property, and the owner cannot be otherwise be located — it ends up at a police auction where it is sold to the highest bidder.

Auction Process:

Most jurisdictions have specific laws, or ordinances, that deal with how the auction will be conducted. In almost every instance, the agency that is conducting the police impound auction is required to publish a full description of the items that will be auctioned as well as the date, time, and location of the auction. they will also publish payment terms which may be cash, money order, certified check, or any other payment method that they choose to accept. They will usually also publish additional terms such as how long you have to remove the property form the auction site once you win the bid, plus any legal disclaimers that the lawyers think need to be mentioned. This publication is normally placed in at least one major newspaper that serves the area with in the law enforcement agency’s jurisdiction.

The purpose of this publication is first: to notify the owner of the property that they have one last chance to redeem it before it is sold at auction, and second: to generate publicity for the police auction so that it will be well attended.

Depending upon the size of the agency, and the agency’s experience conducting auctions, a police auction will either be run by the police department itself, another government agency that is responsible for fiscal matters, or an outside auction company.

The police auction might be held on the steps of the County Courthouse, a room inside of some government office, or a public arena. The location of the police auction depends a lot upon the size of the agency and how much property is being auctioned off.

Some police auctions require that you register as a bidder in advance, while others let everyone and anyone show up at the day of the auction. Bidders are usually allotted time to inspect the goods before the actual police auction begins. You should take advantage of this time because it is a very bad idea to bid on anything that you haven’t had time to inspect.

Once the auction starts, you simply bid on the items that you want. Have a budget in mind and don’t bid more than you’re willing to pay. It’s easy to get caught up in the bidding frenzy and end up paying far more than you intended to.

Police auctions can be fun and profitable. Especially police auto auctions. Watch your local papers for announcements, or contact the law enforcement agencies in your area and find out when they are running the next police auctions.

Government Auctions:

Insiders know where to find government auctions to buy homes, cars, boats, airplanes, motorcycles ? even furniture, designer clothes and jewelry. The property available for public bidding at government auctions is often surplus goods the government no longer needs or confiscated as evidence in criminal cases. Since government auctions are not well publicized, insiders can buy goods for pennies on the dollar. Whether you want to find bargains for yourself, or to resell your purchases for a profit, government auctions are an effective way to increase your net worth and bottom line.

Own luxury goods at Wal-Mart Prices:

When the government auctions off property, all closing bids are final. Many people attending government auctions for the first time can’t believe the prices! Everything you buy at the auction is yours to keep ? no strings attached. With prices this low, it feels like your stealing it ? only it is yours to legally keep, courtesy of the government. If you have champagne taste but a beer budget, attend a government auction. Rolex brands have sold for Timex prices. Why buy a Ford when you can buy a Mercedes for the same price? Traveling? Put away your checkbook at the discount luggage store. Go to a government auction and spend the same money for Louis Vuitton or COACH! You never know what a government auction will have, but it can always be yours for a price well below fair market value.

Starting a business with government auctions:

No organization in America buys more office goods than the government. Auctions are how they dispose of surplus goods no longer needed. Computers, desks, office chairs, AV equipment, copiers and trash cans ? the government auctions them all off. Conserve your capital for operating cash and profits. Smart business people find the office equipment they need at government auctions. Imagine the thousands of dollars you could’ve spent on furniture and computers while you write out your check for pennies on the dollar at the government auction. Since our government buys the best, you know the auction will be loaded with bargains to keep your business humming along. When you are ready to start or expand your business the smart way, begin your office equipment search here at the auctions.

Making government auctions your business:

After attending your first government auction and experiencing great values firsthand, you may decide to start your own resale business. Many people buy cars for hundreds of dollars and resell them for thousands of dollars. Some people spend a day at a government auction procuring goods and bring them home to sell on their own. E-bay is a popular way for people buying goods at the government auction to resell them right from home. Without a retail store, you can save thousands in business expenses during the year. Your on-line business you can create with government auctions is limited only by the size of your garage! Become a power seller!

You "Don’t Need Experience" to bid at a government auction

If you can hold up a bidding number, you can win at a government auction. Of course, with any auction, you will want to inspect the items you are interested in buying before the bidding begins. If you are interested in a computer, but could not turn it on to see if it worked, how much would a non-working computer be worth to you? Since all sales are final, there are no returns. Avoid disappointment, and don’t bid on anything you can’t personally inspect. Government auctions provide amazing values, but don’t lose your common sense in all the excitement. Know how much the property is worth before the auction begins, and your experience at the government auction will be a positive one.
