Negating Negative Feedback on eBay

Taking some pride in my one hundred % constructive feedback score on eBay, I was horrified to see a unfavorable feedback appear against me.

What had I done incorrect? Had I ignored an auction win and failed to provide item as promised? Had I offered bad, sluggish services? Was I rude to the auction winner?

Certainly, if I had been guilty of any of these things, the unfavorable feedback may have been deserved. But, wait a 2nd! The auction had just ended!

Within minutes (maybe seconds) of the auction`s finish, I was turning into awarded unfavorable feedback. Not only did I not receive any opportunity to fulfill the purchase or to right any incorrect that I may have committed, I also obtained an e-mail from the perpetrator threatening to have me suspended from eBay if I didn`t meet particular demands.

This wasn`t honest! Obviously, I had been victimized by an on-line bully. (You would honestly think that individuals had much more productive things to do with their time.)

What could I do about it? I e-mailed eBay and knowledgeable them my tale. I talked about how libel was a set off for civil motion. I forwarded to them the e-mail extorting me. Extortion is a criminal offense.

Happily, eBay took motion. The unfavorable feedback that appeared on my member profile was almost instantly eliminated. eBay also took disciplinary motion against the suspected abuser.

Sure, it took additional time and work to offer with the problem, but isn`t your status truly worth it?
