Do you invite dad to the baby shower? As per the aged custom, the baby showers are &quotladies only&quot celebrations and usually the dad did not attend them. However, he would arrive at the end of the baby shower to greet and thank all the baby shower guests and the hostess.

But these days, it’s turning into more and more typical to include men in the baby showers along with friends, spouses, and family members. Once more it is a individual choice. Only the hostess needs to determine whether you want a traditional &quotladies only&quot shower with lots of &quotgirly talks&quot and individual pregnancy stories. Or whether you’re searching for a more non-traditional baby shower. Nothing is both wrong or correct. Thirdly, if the baby shower is not held at their home, mommy will require dad to assist load up the presents and drive her home. Whilst this might be a new custom, some men might really appreciate the baby shower as much as the ladies. Even though I doubt that most fathers-to-be would ever before admit it to anyone, dad has to keep up that “macho” image after all.

It would be a good touch to include presents that are special for dad. Even though the presents are generally presents for the baby, and the occassional gift for the mother, dad wouldn’t thoughts 1 or two for himself. Just do not let on that you know that. Let him keep his pride.

Usually, anyone who was invited to the wedding can be invited to the baby shower. Remember, this is a joyous celebration and you should spread joy, blessings and joy to everyone that has an curiosity in the family.
