Foods That Freeze Well


“Can I freeze it?” is a question frequently asked in our houses, and for great reason. Probably most of us, at some point or an additional, have tried to freeze a specific meals only to find out that it did not freeze nicely and either spoiled or became inedible. Here are some meals that are “freezer-friendly”…

? Cooked poultry in casseroles

? Most veggies in recipes containing a sauce

? Baked meat loaf

? Cooked dried beans, cooked rice or pasta

? Veggies freeze better than meat, seafood, or fruit.

But some, such as peas and spinach, freeze better than broccoli or cauliflower. (Cauliflower becomes watery when frozen.)

As long as your meals are properly ready and saved prior to freezing, and you select meals that are amenable to freezing, you should have no issues. This simple tip can effortlessly conserve you time and money for just a few minutes of planning. Appreciate!
