Whats on YOUR Subscriber Thank-You Page?

When I coach my clients on how to get more company from their e-zines, I am delighted to see that they spend time on making content that builds a romantic relationship with their readers. But I see numerous of these publishers overlooking the very beginning of their useful romantic relationship with their subscribers. For example, the “thank-you” page. If I signal up for your e-zine at your website, exactly where am I taken afterwards? I hope it’s not a page that only says some thing vague like “type obtained” or even even worse, nothing, leaving me wondering whether or not my signup was successful. Produce a thank-you page exactly where new signups go to correct after they total the type. On this page, be sure to:

  • Thank me for signing up!
  • Example: “Thank you for subscribing to [E-zine Name Here]!”

  • Allow me know if I require to do anything else.

For example, do I have to view my e-mail inbox for a confirmation concept? This is Particularly essential if you use a double opt-in process that demands me to reply or click on a hyperlink in that e-mail in order to total my signal-up. If you do not point this out on the thank-you page, there is a opportunity that I’ll assume the e-mail I obtain is just a welcome letter and won’t open it.

  • Make it feel individual.

Include your photo and signature if you can. Being individual helps me feel like I know you, and remember this is essential because I am more most likely to Buy from these I feel I know and believe in.

  • Ask for their suggestions.

This fast-forwards your romantic relationship with your subscribers by currently generating them feel like you treatment. Something like this will do: “I’d love to listen to what subjects YOU would most like to see coated in upcoming problems of [E-zine Name Here].” Put your e-mail deal with correct on the page and make it clickable.

You can also insert an automatic subject line in the hyperlink this kind of as “ezine_concept” by forming your hyperlink like this: mailto:yourname@yourwebsite.com?subject=ezine_concept. When someone clicks on that hyperlink, it will automatically produce an e-mail addressed to you with the subject line “ezine_concept.” This will help you maintain these requests organized on your end.

  • Give me a unique offer correct then and there.

Why not give them a low cost on 1 of your products or services correct there? For example, you could say, “I know you signed up for my e-zine to get great tips on [subject matter here]. Wouldn’t you like to get began correct away? My [book, special report, teleseminar etc.] will walk you through the entire process, stage by stage. And if you act correct now, I’ll give you a ten% low cost. Cl1ck right here to discover more.”

  • Recommend someone ELSE’s e-zine.

No, that was not a typo. Discover 1 or two other publishers whose target market matches yours but who are not immediate competitors, and cross market every other on your thank-you pages. This process is also called “co-registration.”

The duplicate may study, “Do not miss these other two e-zines that I study regularly and highly recommend!” Then follow with short descriptions and signal-up directions.

A number of publishers I know with very big lists share that this method has been 1 of their best methods to acquire subscribers faster on a normal basis. And your new subscribers will be happy to think about what ever other resources you recommend.

  • Keep in mind, You’re Laying the Basis

The point of all this? By taking extra treatment with your new signups, you lay the foundation for a long and profitable romantic relationship with your readers.
