Dealing With Tragedies (The 9/11 Tragedy)

September 11, 2001, marked yet another significant turning point in world background. Whatever innocence was left in the world was lost on that fateful day.

On lesser numeric scales, equally heinous crimes are committed in opposition to humanity practically every day of the yr.

What is occurring in the world? It is challenging to explain. Somehow the perpetrators of the most evil and disgusting crimes have been stripped of the virtue of mercy. It would seem that their basic humanity is merely lacking.

The memory of those planes crashing into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and the one that crashed into the Pennsylvanian area, will be etched into people’s minds permanently. For many of us it was like viewing a Hollywood movie as it unfolded before us on television screens all around the world. We watched in stunned silence as we learned that the occasions had been real and had been occurring in real time.

In the blink of an eye, families can be thrown into turmoil when loved ones are lost or hurt, frequently in the most tragic of conditions.

Relatives and friends are pressured to relive the horror of these tragedies more than and more than once more as anniversary dates come and go. The grief and sense of reduction they feel is intense.

Loving family members and friends can only wonder in disbelief at why this kind of tragedies occur. Praying for the souls of those who are tragically lost can help the healing procedure. But this kind of procedure is never total.

I have searched my substantial individual library for some words that might help those who are grieving the reduction of moms, fathers, sons, daughters, friends and other loved ones.

Eventually, I discovered a quote that I thought was suitable. It was from a course I attended in 1990 by Bob Proctor, a renowned individual improvement coach. The course was known as “You Had been Born Rich.” Here is the quote:

“When you die, all your possessions become someone else’s. But the individual you are will usually belong to you.”

It is impossible to make sense of tragedies, especially when they involve extremely young individuals who have not had an opportunity to experience the joys of existence.

We seem to be living in a unusual world exactly where the harmful steps of a few evil-doers can destroy the lives of so many innocents. It is hard to accept that these issues occur.

“Cherish the memories of those you have loved and lost, They will never be forgotten by those who loved them most.”

May God bless you and those you love and have loved each and every day.

Please share these ideas with anyone struggling the reduction of a loved one.
